BETHESDA, MD – Manhattan Strategy Group (MSG) joined the U.S. Department of Education's Office of English Language Acquisition (OELA) for a “Family Engagement” Webinar for educators who work with English learners (ELs). OELA provides national leadership to help ensure that English learners and immigrant students attain English proficiency and achieve academic success. The Family Engagement webinar provided key research and strategies for fostering family engagement and Every Student Succeeds Act (ESSA) requirements related to EL family engagement.

The study was authored by experts at Manhattan Strategy Group (MSG) and their colleagues at the Urban Institute.

MSG Continues to Receive Exceptional CPARS Rating on Research Project

BETHESDA, MD – Manhattan Strategy Group (MSG) recently completed an evaluation project with the National Science Foundation’s (NSF) Science Engineering and Education for Sustainability (SEES) portfolio of programs and received an ‘exceptional’ performance rating for quality, schedule and management in the Contract Performance Assessment Reporting System (CPARS). MSG received this rating, which is the Federal Government’s highest possible rating for performance, throughout the life of the five-year contract.

A new series of topical briefs from Manhattan Strategy Group (MSG), a management and social services consulting firm, focuses on issues affecting the nation’s youngest learners in Head Start and other early learning programs. The two briefs released under the Early Care and Education Series highlight topics of importance for early childhood professionals: adopting an expansive orientation to school readiness and addressing the unique needs of dual language learners (DLLs).

Manhattan Strategy Group Receives DOL Funding to Increase Registered Apprenticeship Opportunities

Manhattan Strategy Group (MSG) was awarded a U.S. Department of Labor (DOL) contract to expand Registered Apprenticeship opportunities in sectors affected by the pandemic, including care and rehabilitation services, electric grid support, critical supply chain materials, and transportation to support supply chain distribution. MSG will be reaching out to establish key partnerships at the regional and national levels to ultimately increase the number of new Registered Apprenticeship Programs in the supply chain automation sector.
