New Advancing Innovation Podcast Highlights Student Voices in Adult Education

Manhattan Strategy Group (MSG) released a new podcast series highlighting the voices of adult learners from innovative secondary credentialing, bridge, and integrated education and training (IET) programs. The podcast series is an initiative of the Advancing Innovation in Adult Education project, a three-year effort to identify and highlight innovative adult education practices that lead to improved learning outcomes.

MSG Joined OELA for English Learner Family Engagement Webinar

BETHESDA, MD – Manhattan Strategy Group (MSG) joined the U.S. Department of Education's Office of English Language Acquisition (OELA) for a “Family Engagement” Webinar for educators who work with English learners (ELs). OELA provides national leadership to help ensure that English learners and immigrant students attain English proficiency and achieve academic success. The Family Engagement webinar provided key research and strategies for fostering family engagement and Every Student Succeeds Act (ESSA) requirements related to EL family engagement.

MSG Explores the Causes of State Variation in SNAP Costs with New Report Released by FNS

BETHESDA, MD – A new report, Exploring the Causes of State Variation in Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) Administrative Costs, was recently released by the U.S. Department of Agriculture’s Food and Nutrition Service (FNS). The study was authored by experts at Manhattan Strategy Group (MSG) and their colleagues at the Urban Institute.

MSG Continues to Receive Exceptional CPARS Rating on Research Project

BETHESDA, MD – Manhattan Strategy Group (MSG) recently completed an evaluation project with the National Science Foundation’s (NSF) Science Engineering and Education for Sustainability (SEES) portfolio of programs and received an ‘exceptional’ performance rating for quality, schedule and management in the Contract Performance Assessment Reporting System (CPARS). MSG received this rating, which is the Federal Government’s highest possible rating for performance, throughout the life of the five-year contract.
