Manhattan Strategy Group Showcases Education Innovation and Research
January 15, 2020

Manhattan Strategy Group (MSG) recently produced two new episodes of the “1-4-5 Podcast” for the U.S. Department of Education’s Education Innovation and Research program (EIR). Hosted by EdScale’s Tom DeWire, the interviews each feature interviews with one grantee answering four questions about their work in under five minutes. Listen to the episodes on the EIR SoundCloud page.

These new episodes feature expert staff members from Math for All and the Literacy Design Collaborative in discussion about their organizations’ work scaling-up their innovations. The experts discuss their collaborations with partners including the National Science Foundation, as well as lessons learned from implementations across elementary and middle schools in the public education systems in Chicago, New York, and Los Angeles. They also explain the evidence base and research behind their methods.

This is the second round of 1-4-5 interviews with EIR grantees that MSG has produced during its work as dissemination partners for the EIR program. Previous interviews with additional grantees in the areas of rural math, writing, and leadership training are available on the SoundCloud page.
