MSG provided expert training, coaching, and TA to 140+ REO program grantees nationwide. Our tailored support helped improve workforce development strategies and strengthened partnerships to boost employment outcomes for justice involved individuals engaging the workforce. We offered personalized one-on-one coaching, interactive webinars, peer learning sessions, and valuable resources to build capacity. Additionally, MSG assisted grantees with timely performance reporting using the Workforce Integrated Performance System (WIPS) and the REO Grants Performance Management System (GPMS).

The Student Engagement and Attendance Center (SEAC) is a technical assistance (TA) initiative to support state educational agencies (SEAs) and local educational agencies (LEAs) in their efforts to reduce chronic absenteeism and increase student engagement through identifying and disseminating evidence-based, promising practices and research. SEAC provides universal, targeted, and intensive TA to SEAs and LEAs to address chronic absenteeism.

MSG provides technical assistance to four state agencies as they design and implement cross-system strategies that improve education and career outcomes for youth and young adults with disabilities. The project supports efforts to align K–12, postsecondary, and workforce systems to help students transition successfully into further education, training, or employment. MSG works with grantees to strengthen school and community partnerships, expand access to career pathways, and improve data practices that inform long-term program planning and student support. 

MSG assists with implementing the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act’s (IDEA) national programs. MSG primarily plans and implements the OSEP Annual Meeting with over 1,200 participants. The meeting provides opportunities for in-depth conversations about challenges and solutions in the fields of early intervention and special education.

MSG determines systems alignment needed for the development of high quality, evidence-based eligible career pathway programs for Ability to Benefit (ATB) use at community and technical colleges. MSG provides technical assistance and resources that assist colleges and states in understanding ATB regulatory requirements and increases the number of states with an approved ATB state process. MSG also promotes and assists adult education and family literacy programs and community and technical colleges in designing and implementing ATB eligible career pathways for adults. 

MSG supports the Promoting Postbaccalaureate Opportunities for Hispanic Americans Program Logistical and Administrative Support Services funded by the Department of Education, Office of Post Secondary Education (OPE). MSG provides logistical, administrative, and reporting support for recruitment, training, evaluation, and management of peer reviewers.

MSG provides logistical and administrative peer review support for The U.S. Department of Education, Office of Postsecondary Education (OPE), Higher Education Programs, Alaska Native and Native Hawaiian-Serving Institutions Program. Activities include recruitment, training, evaluation, management and payment of peer reviewers; virtual peer reviews; enhancing the current peer review system; designing, reproducing, and distributing of guidance documents; and providing post-review support.

MSG supports the Department of Education, Office of Postsecondary Education (OPE) by providing logistical and administrative support for the Augustus F. Hawkins Centers of Excellence grant competition. MSG handles all peer review activities including developing and distributing review materials, records management, review assignment, data extraction, application management on an ED portable data device, and ensuring all documents are 508 compliant.

MSG serves as the lead communications partner under the U.S. Department of Justice’s $83 million Communications Support Services Blanket Purchase Agreement (BPA) with the Office of Justice Programs (OJP). Through eight active task orders, MSG supports strategic communications, content development, event planning, and public education initiatives across multiple DOJ offices, including the Office of Juvenile Justice and Delinquency Prevention (OJJDP) and the National Institute of Justice (NIJ).
