MSG developed virtual training tools and resources designed to instruct frontline workforce development staff on the use of Labor Market Information resources, so that they can assist employers and job seekers in making educated career, training, and economic development decisions.

Resource guide to help the workforce development system navigate the changes in high school equivalency alternatives, as well as new College and Career Readiness Standards, and how these changes affect partnerships, infrastructure, professional development, and service delivery strategies.

MSG worked with the U.S. Department of Education and state education agencies (SEAs) to increase parental and family engagement activities for students across the U.S. MSG conducted a needs assessment/gap analysis through interviews and a literature review and then engaged 10 regional technical assistance providers to work with grantees nationwide. MSG developed and delivered over 100 regional Communities of Practice webinars to grantees all over the U.S. To meet the individual needs of SEAs and programs, MSG also developed an internal electronic resources database.

Develop an employee recognition plan to facilitate a significant and sustained improvement in the Office of Elementary and Secondary Education’ organizational effectiveness and culture, increasing employee satisfaction, commitment, engagement, and productivity.

MSG worked closely with National Center for Educational Statistics (NCES) to design, develop, and implement seven common and 22 dataset-specific training modules on the topics of acquisition, analysis, interpretation, dissemination, and reporting of statistical data reflecting the condition and progress of education at all levels in the U.S. and on educational activities and student achievement compared with foreign nations. MSG also conducted a thorough review of the Distance Learning Dataset Training system and individual training modules and implemented comprehensive enhancements.

Increase access to high-quality resources in the Career Technical Education community by helping secondary CTE educators around the country understand how to effectively develop and share OER.

Broad-based technical assistance effort to help state and local adult education providers develop and deliver instructional resources that enable low-skilled adults to progress on a career pathway and prepare for postsecondary success.

The Credit Enhancement Technical Assistance contract supports the U.S. Department of Education’s  Charter School Programs (CSP), located within the Office of Elementary and Secondary Education (OESE), in managing its Credit Enhancement for Charter School Facilities (Credit Enhancement or CE) program.

MSG revamped the DOL-ETA Career Pathways toolkit to promote and foster the development of career pathways within a Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA) framework that align training and education opportunities with occupational and employer needs and job openings. The toolkit can help state offices, partners, and workforce development boards advance the development of career pathways and adopt lessons learned and promising practices from the field.

MSG provided technical assistance and support to more than 413 Family and Youth Services Bureau (FYSB) Runaway and Homeless Youth (RHY) Program grantees to measure and monitor grantee performance, provide training and consultation, and facilitate collaboration.
