Technical Assistance to Support Reentry Employment Opportunities (REO) Programs

MSG provided expert training, coaching, and TA to 140+ REO program grantees nationwide. Our tailored support helped improve workforce development strategies and strengthened partnerships to boost employment outcomes for justice involved individuals engaging the workforce. We offered personalized one-on-one coaching, interactive webinars, peer learning sessions, and valuable resources to build capacity. Additionally, MSG assisted grantees with timely performance reporting using the Workforce Integrated Performance System (WIPS) and the REO Grants Performance Management System (GPMS).

Student Engagement and Attendance Center (SEAC)

The Student Engagement and Attendance Center (SEAC) is a technical assistance (TA) initiative to support state educational agencies (SEAs) and local educational agencies (LEAs) in their efforts to reduce chronic absenteeism and increase student engagement through identifying and disseminating evidence-based, promising practices and research. SEAC provides universal, targeted, and intensive TA to SEAs and LEAs to address chronic absenteeism.

Employment Transition Model (ETM) Demonstration Grant Technical Assistance

MSG provides technical assistance to four state agencies as they design and implement cross-system strategies that improve education and career outcomes for youth and young adults with disabilities. The project supports efforts to align K–12, postsecondary, and workforce systems to help students transition successfully into further education, training, or employment. MSG works with grantees to strengthen school and community partnerships, expand access to career pathways, and improve data practices that inform long-term program planning and student support. 

Dual Enrollment for Adult Learners (DEAL)

MSG determines systems alignment needed for the development of high quality, evidence-based eligible career pathway programs for Ability to Benefit (ATB) use at community and technical colleges. MSG provides technical assistance and resources that assist colleges and states in understanding ATB regulatory requirements and increases the number of states with an approved ATB state process. MSG also promotes and assists adult education and family literacy programs and community and technical colleges in designing and implementing ATB eligible career pathways for adults. 

Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA) Disaster Technical Assistance Center (DTAC)

MSG supports States, U.S. territories, tribes, and localities in delivering an effective mental health and substance use-related response to disasters through the delivery of disaster behavioral health training and technical assistance, resources, and consultation.

Institute of Behavioral Psychology (IBP)

MSG provides consulting services to the Institute of Behavioral Psychology (IBP), a psychology-based, multipurpose educational center. IBP is the only institute in South Asia that offers psychological, educational, and therapeutic services in one centralized location. IBP offers specialized education and vocational training services to enhance the lives of students with cognitive support needs from all areas of Karachi, Pakistan.

National Center for the Strategic Support of the Preschool Development Grants Birth through Five

The goals of the Preschool Development Grants Birth through Five (PDG B–5) were to improve child health and development, maximize parent engagement and knowledge, prepare children to enter kindergarten ready to succeed, and improve the transition from the early childhood system into the local educational agency.

Healthy Marriage and Responsible Fatherhood (HMRF) Grantee Support and Advancement Project

A multifaceted training and technical assistance project supporting the Office of Family Assistance (OFA) and their 110 Healthy Marriage and Responsible Fatherhood (HMRF) and 8 Tribal TANF Child Welfare nationwide grantees that provide structured programming and wraparound services to individuals, couples, and families to support participants in attaining self-sufficiency and improving outcomes for children. Manhattan Strategy Group (MSG) manages communications, project development, virtual and in-person group events, and individualized technical assistance.
