Employment Transition Model (ETM) Demonstration Grant Technical Assistance

MSG provides technical assistance to four state agencies as they design and implement cross-system strategies that improve education and career outcomes for youth and young adults with disabilities. The project supports efforts to align K–12, postsecondary, and workforce systems to help students transition successfully into further education, training, or employment. MSG works with grantees to strengthen school and community partnerships, expand access to career pathways, and improve data practices that inform long-term program planning and student support. 

DOJ Office of Justice Programs

MSG serves as the lead communications partner under the U.S. Department of Justice’s $83 million Communications Support Services Blanket Purchase Agreement (BPA) with the Office of Justice Programs (OJP). Through eight active task orders, MSG supports strategic communications, content development, event planning, and public education initiatives across multiple DOJ offices, including the Office of Juvenile Justice and Delinquency Prevention (OJJDP) and the National Institute of Justice (NIJ).

Healthy Marriage and Responsible Fatherhood (HMRF) Grantee Support and Advancement Project

A multifaceted training and technical assistance project supporting the Office of Family Assistance (OFA) and their 110 Healthy Marriage and Responsible Fatherhood (HMRF) and 8 Tribal TANF Child Welfare nationwide grantees that provide structured programming and wraparound services to individuals, couples, and families to support participants in attaining self-sufficiency and improving outcomes for children. Manhattan Strategy Group (MSG) manages communications, project development, virtual and in-person group events, and individualized technical assistance.

Sarcopenia and Immobility During COVID-19 Campaign

MSG partnered with the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services’ Office on Women’s Health to lead a national awareness and behavior change campaign on sarcopenia, a condition marked by the loss of muscle mass and strength with age. Targeting women ages 65 and older, along with their caregivers, families, and health care providers, MSG developed a full-scale communications strategy grounded in Applied Empathy to promote prevention, early detection, and treatment.

National Clearinghouse for English Language Acquisition

MSG developed and facilitated technical assistance (TA) to thousands of stakeholders in state and local educational agencies and institutes of higher education, resulting in tangible outcomes for English learner support and academic achievement. MSG organized and facilitated TA including webinars, 24-hour help desks, podcasts, and meetings. We drafted research-based resources such as Congressional reports, fact sheets, infographics, mobile apps, playbooks, practice briefs, and toolkits. MSG maintained the NCELA website and the Knowledge Management System (KMS) through which 123 of the U.S.

National Charter School Resource Center (NCSRC)

MSG leads the National Charter School Resource Center (NCSRC), transforming it into a national hub for training, technical assistance (TA), and resources that support over 180 active grantees across six Charter School Program (CSP) streams. We provide individualized TA to more than 200 grantees and authorizers, helping them meet grant requirements, strengthen charter school quality, and elevate student outcomes.
