Bethesda, MD – MSG was recently awarded a U.S. Department of Health and Human Services contract to provide technical support to state Preschool Development Grants Birth through Five (PDG B-5) grantees. This support includes the provision of universal, targeted, and intensive technical assistance (TA) and resource development, leading to stronger outcomes for states and improved coordination and implementation of early childhood education services and programs. The PDG B-5 TA Center is administered through the Office of Early Childhood Development, in collaboration with the U.S. Department of Education.

The PDG B-5 TA Center supports state grantees to implement grant activities, address key issues such as state systems to support child health and development, maximize family engagement, and prepare children to be successful in kindergarten. The Center will also collaborate and coordinate efforts with other federally funded early childhood TA centers on topics including workforce development, inclusion, equity, and infant and early childhood mental health. “Our team has strong passion and experience in supporting the development of sustainable and equitable systems and programs for young children and their families. It is an honor for us to support states as they build stronger, better, and more integrated systems and policies to support early childhood development,” noted Kimberly Stice, M.A., Project Director.

The Manhattan Strategy Group is a nationally recognized training and technical assistance provider with comprehensive services in research and evaluation, marketing and communications, information technology, and program management.
