The U.S. Department of Agriculture, Food and Nutrition Services (FNS) AWARDED MSG a government contract to perform on-site visits to retail stores specified by the FNS Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP). Per the contract, MSG will make unannounced in-person visits to stores in the continental United States, Hawaii, portions of Alaska (Anchorage, Juneau, and Fairbanks), U.S. Virgin Islands, and Guam. During the on-site visit, MSG will collect data and take photos of retail businesses applying or renewing their applications to accept SNAP benefits. FNS uses the results of Store Visits to confirm the eligibility of each store’s participation in SNAP according to relevant laws, regulations, and policies.
