The goals of the Preschool Development Grants Birth through Five (PDG B-5) are to improve child health and development, maximize parent engagement and knowledge, prepare children to enter kindergarten ready to succeed, and improve transition from the early childhood system into the local educational agency. MSG provides technical support to PDG B-5 grantees, including universal, targeted, and individualized technical assistance on topics such as support for the early childhood care and education workforce, family engagement, inclusion of children with disabilities, infant and early childhood mental health, and project management.
