MSG Affiliate Institute Receives Award in Dubai for Special Education

The Institute of Behavioral Psychology (IBP), an MSG associate organization with CEO Shezad Habib on its Board of Directors, was awarded the prestigious Princess Haya Award for Special Education (PHASE). Selected from a competitive pool of 119 applicants from 22 counties, IBP received the title “Institutional Excellence and Special Needs Centre.” This award has been presented since 2008, developed by Princess Haya al-Bint Hussein—wife of Dubai’s Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid al Maktoum—to honor innovative work in the special needs sector.

For the last thirty years, IBP has been working to provide special needs children with the psychological and educational support necessary to succeed. IBP also aims to cultivate a larger body of trained special needs professionals across Pakistan. With skills workshop and professional development trainings, IBP helps educators address the behavioral and psychological needs of special needs children. In addition to this, IBP offers comprehensive assessments for educational institutions regarding emotional intelligence, learning styles, and career paths. Joining the ranks of other esteemed PHASE recipients, IBP has received international recognition for its sustained commitment to creatively improving special needs education. With associate organizations like IBP, MSG remains dedicated to addressing both domestic and global education challenges.
