MSG Working with SPRA to Support the Workforce Data Quality Initiative
MSG joined the SPRA team to support technical assistance delivery to the grantees of the Workforce Data Quality Initiative (WDQI). The Workforce Data Quality Initiative (WDQI) is an effort by the Department of Labor to support states through grants to develop and enhance state longitudinal administrative databases. The longitudinal databases should link information on individual level training and employment services received to individual outcomes. Ultimately, the WDQI seeks to provide better information to customers and decision makers in the workforce system and improve evaluation capacity of programs being funded. MSG’s Sr. Manager of Technology & Media, Andrew Simpson will work with grantees as a resident technical expert on technology aspects related to creating, maintaining and enhancing longitudinal databases. Mr. Simpson will lead group discussions and webinars with focused on issues identified by grantees on the technology side of their efforts.
